Why Electrical CAD ?

Autocad Electrical is part of Autocad which comes with all electrical standard libraries, symbols which helps electrical engineer to design and document electrical drawings.

This course is designed to teach you about productivity tools in AutoCAD Electrical. Topics include Settings and Configurations, Custom Components, Custom Data, PLC Modules and more.

 

After completion of the ECAD course:

Capable of Circuit design and using symbol libraries Generate PLC layout modules, insert PLC modules, and organize PLC database files Automatic report generation Capable to do wire numbering and component tagging in circuits design

After completing the AutoCAD Electrical course, you will be able to navigate the user interface and follow basic electrical design workflows, manage projects, manage multiple drawing and inter-drawing relationships in projects, insert wires, add wire numbers, manage circuits, and create point-to-point wiring diagrams and drawings, insert and annotate schematic symbols, edit drawings with commands, extract information for Bill of Materials and Wiring, and create and annotate panel layout drawings, including using the Terminal Strip Editor.

Career Scope

Electrical engineers design, develop, test, and supervise the manufacture of electrical equipment. Some of this equipment includes electric motors; machinery controls, lighting, and wiring in buildings; radar and navigation systems; communications systems; and power generation, control, and transmission devices used by electric utilities. Electrical engineers also design the electrical systems of automobiles and aircraft.
